Biodiversity Workshop facilitated by Field Studies Ireland

This event has been organised by Colin Wildlife Group with Colin Neighbourhood Parthership and will be an opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in:

• Understanding the importance of biodiversity for people and the planet
• How to identify different plants and animals living in our local environment
• Engaging others with local biodiversity through stories, activities and enquiry-led approaches.

There will be lots of focus on fun, so please expect to get your hands dirty, while taking part in lots of group activity. Participants should arrive dressed for the weather, in closed-toe footwear with ankle support. Please bring a packed lunch and bottle of water. We will provide tea and coffee.
