Building Playscapes - Outdoor Learning workshop

This full day outdoor workshop is designed for adults in the Colin area who are:

• parents or carers
•  or work/volunteer with children
• or  are interested in facilitating outdoor sessions with groups.

The training will focus on building personal skills in relation to knots, ropes and their practical application. This includes the benefit and place in teaching others, so it's suitable for anyone who wishes to learn how to build playscapes for others, and those who also wish to understand the risks and benefits of each playscape.

The training will be delivered by Field Studies Ireland and has been organised by Colin Neighbourhood Partnership in partnership with Colin Wildlife Group, with funding from the National Lottery Community Fund.

There is no cost for taking part, but places are limited, so we would ask people to please inform as as soon as possible if they have registered for a place, but then can't make it. 

Participants are asked to bring their own packed lunch and dress appropriately for the weather with appropriate footwear for muddy paths.

Please note, the training will take place in a woodland area with uneven ground.
