Colin Neighbourhood Partnership
Colin Early Parenting Programme (CEPP) is a partnership between Colin Neighbourhood Partnership (CNP) and the SE Health & Social Care Trust, delivering a range of supports to young mothers, babies and families throughout the Colin area, including indoor and outdoor group activities and individualised family support delivered through home visits. The small CEPP team comprises one Health Visitor and two Early Intervention Support Workers, working closely with other local community groups and health professionals.
We are now seeking to recruit two Early Intervention Support Workers (EISWs) to this important programme, who will both be based in CNP’s Cloona House offices but will work very closely with the CEPP Health Visitor and other Trust staff. Successful applicants can choose to take up a post for either 22.5 hours or 30 hours per week. There will also be an opportunity to discuss other flexibility in working routine including a term time working option.
Essential criteria for these posts includes a minimum of NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care/Childcare qualification or equivalent, and at least two years’ experience of direct work with vulnerable families. Previous experience of delivering manualised programmes (such as Incredible Years, Partnership with Parents or Mellow Bumps etc.) or other group programmes, and experience of working with parents to promote positive child behaviours, are desirable but not essential. Training to deliver key activities will be an important aspect of these roles. A full driving licence and access to own transport is required.
